Happy World Teacher Day

As a proud educator of almost 25 years, my journey into teaching was anything but traditional. I started as a business major working for a non-profit. When funding for my program ended, I needed to find a new path. On an emergency permit, I began teaching first grade while attending school in the evenings to earn my teaching license. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of watching every class I taught graduate, and my love for education has only grown—from classroom teacher to director.
