School Is In Session

We have been back in school for over a week now and I’ve had the privilege of opening school at one of our district schools. It has been 8 years since being in a building with students. There’s nothing like back-to-school energy with the kids. 

I was also excited about the first dress down Friday for staff. I selected a gold ”Igniting Minds, Inspiring Futures” tee to match the school colors. The tee was comfortable and light while sharing my purpose. Even received some compliments from the teenagers - an accomplishment in itself. I wore a 2x and had to knot it the back. Next time, will scale back a size for my next t-shirt.

I can not wait for this upcoming week with the kids buzzing with the excitement of Senior photos and PBIS activities.
